Intel only supports the Intel® Server Board S5520HC family with the memory and hardware in the Intel Server Configurator Tool.

- Mixing of RDIMMs and UDIMMs
- Mixing memory type, size, speed, and/or rank
- Mixing memory vendors
- Non-ECC memory

The Intel® Server Board S5520HC has 12 DIMM slots. The Intel® Server Board S5500HCV has 9DIMM slots.
Both server boards support DDR3 800, DDR3 1066, and DDR3 1333 Registered DDR3 Memory (RDIMM), ECC Unbuffered DDR3 memory (UDIMM). Please refer to the Technical Product Specification for detail information about memory configuration.
